hey im going to play with the kodi program again.....been a long time
can you make it where you can have one's complete set up saved to a usb and then life would be easier if you were wanting to transfer it to new boxes
say like if you were reselling boxes
because i know it can take a while to set up a box and add a bunch of good repos
thats the plan today to see what all i can add
busting out the cell phone and a coffee and the google
lol

It can be done. I believe it's just a .xml file. The Kodi wiki site should have all the answers.

It does not take long to set up anymore. Install Jarvis, install the ares wizard, and from there you have a choice of a hundred builds. I like Jeds Fire Builds - Eminence 4.9. On my i7 HTPC's it takes 7 or 8 minutes.

It is a addon found within the Kodi repository called backup:
To install this add-on you must do so from the Add-on manager (http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on_manager) from within Kodi by going to:
Settings
Add-ons
Install from repository (v15/v16) / Get add-ons (v14)

there are a few versions of kodi on the t1, spmc is one. You can install and use more than one version without any issues so if you want to try another build just put it on spmc I use a small one called wookie light which runs well

USB-SDCard Wizard from the XunityTalk repo works well.
This add-on allows you to make a full backup of your Kodi setup. I use it on the Android box’s, I haven’t tried it on other KODI installs but it should work.
It is quite easy to use, although USB-SDCard Wizard will need to be installed on both units.
Once you have a build with all the add-ons and settings you want backed up, with a USB drive installed open the USB-SDCard Wizard. It will ask for a location, choose your USB drive. Click Back up & Full.
Once it is done you can use that back up file in another unit by choosing the restore option in the USB-SDCard Wizard add-on.
