New Dreamlink T1

so i got me a new toy on friday

i must say i was impressed this weekend with the box


she loaded up fast did a few up dates and took me a bit to learn how to use it but i like it. can put 5 different private iptv services in it and i did 3..

joytv
profinitytv

.......it has an epg button and works great loads the epg and easy to go to the channel and the back button works too. i think the picture quality was good


just a few things im not sure if it can do like
1 in the vod's on the private server i cant find how to do a search for a movie i see how to group them and that's good but i dont need to search too often

2 no page up or down like my mag box .....is there a way? i would really like that option


i bought the avov int he past because it could do iptv and kodi but right out of the box i had issues with avov

the dreamlink.....like i said runs fast....and the remote yes it works great you don't have to be in a direct line of site like the avov does.......dreamlink remote is good and the buttons work correctly

now for the kodi

i had to ask in the other section but and they mentioned ...ares wizard

i googled it and loaded it

it lets you pick some one else build.......it was nice i tried a few then found the one i liked
there build changed the whole look of the kodi and gave me all the add ons i need to enjoy kodi

the kodi runs well better then i remember

i have only tried all this hard wired but its nice it comes with the built in wifi

i might test that tonight but i think it will be good too.


apps in the box they could use a few more....i installed netflix and it runs great......avov had issues with the netflix app they have vpn apps would be nice to try vpn and hulu if i could.....i have the dedicated ip i can get the american netflix never tried hulu before and i would like to




so ya just my 2 cents........

i loved the mag box it works great for iptv but it only does iptv
Avov just too many things about it i didnt like.

i strongly feel now ya if your just getting into the game the dreamlink T1 is worth the money

Works great with the private iptv
Works great for just kodi
Works great for netflix

bad ass little unit can give you all your tv needs..........FINALLY!!!!!

the center button controls channel up/down, back and forward in the epg
The channel button with the up/down arrows is page up down
There are lots of vpns and hulu is in the market

Where did you find that secret number lol.......loads of apps now porn....differing iptv things just downloading a Disney one.....found the Hulu I just need to figure how to get an account for that now...( I'm in Canada)


And for the other comment the no search In the vods is not that big because there is a search in kodi....and they will have the movie your looking for

I looked though all the stickies and can not find anything about a search routine in the VOD section. The MAG has that feature by the way.

I never said there was a search feature in vod I was referring to 0852 The search feature will be done in a future upgrade

My apologies for any stupid questions I'm about to ask. I have zero experience with iptv. I've been reading as much as I can but there isn't a lot about these t1 units. First stupid question. Do you have to have a private server to get any tv or just for network tv?

the dreamlink t1 is to me a dual unit.......you can run just a private iptv service or kodi

its a android box.......you down load there app......you can add the private service to it and enjoy tv like that

but

you can download the kodi app (well its already there) kodi is a free service for tv and movies.....but with the box it just gives you the app you have to google how to build the app.
its easy......i just did it here


so in the end.......for me........i have 2 choices i watch my private service because im comfortable with it but should it not have what i want........like im craving a tv series or a movie.........go to kodi it will have a few options to the content you want....

so yes you can live with just kodi to enjoy tv / movies but this box works well and lets you enjoy a private iptv service too

or

it has the netflix app and i use it too lol it too works well


there is lots of tv for way less cost then you would pay the tv pigs
