Any reliable IR remote controls for DreamLink T5?

Does anyone have any ideas for a reliable IR remote control or extender for the T5?
I am using a Nexgen IR remote extender (one with the special AAA battery you put in your original remote that acts as a transmitter) but it seems to be a little finicky at times.
