Hey everybody, need your help because I am nul when it comes to receivers.

I have a jynxbox ultra lite hd and am tired of having to change the jb200 module, right now 4 of 5 sat have signal at 42%, so I''m guessing its the jb200 thats defective

so what receiver would you all suggest I buy that is simple to use and compatible with IKS?

Thanks in advance

I have the Jynxbox V14 and have not had an issue with the JB 200 the newer clones come with a fan in them already. Mine has been running 24/7 ever since I purchased it 2 or so years ago. The Dreamlink seems cool but there are a ton of clones being sold and I can't seem to find a place to buy the T5 or T6 besides ebay and they are pricey compared to a Jynxbox.

I've had Jynboxes and they were nothing but trouble. I have Dreamlink T4's now and love them. The T6 is a clone.

I looked inside my Jynxbox ultra lite hd and there is a fan inside

dont know what to do, stock on JB200, by a newer model Jynxbox or pay big bucks
for a dreamlink T5

in the old days , my viewsat never gave me
trouble

i have a Dreamlink HD for 5 years now and has worked flawlessly. I do have it elevated off the shelf a couple inches to allow better air flow underneath and through the unit. Done this since day one. I know if I had to replace my unit theres only one choice, the T5 Dreamlink. pay the extra few bucks and not have to shop again for it later.

I had a VS9000 and a Max running with a pc or router but I got sick of it. Rebooting the pc or the router all the time. The Jynxbox needed a reboot every few days. I have been running a T4 with the HD module and no fans for a few months and haven't had to reboot it at all. I love this box. I even got my dad who's 75 one and he wishes I had done it years ago.

To everyone having heat issues with your receiver........

Take the USB end from an old mouse or keyboard and splice it onto a 4" computer fan, plug the fan into one of the usb ports on your receiver or PC and place the fan on top of the receiver on the side of the HD module, put some pieces of rubber into the corner holes of the fan to keep it from moving around. The fan is 12v but your USB port only puts out 5v so the fan will run at half speed which is nice and quite.

I use a lap top cooling pad under my T5 it has two fans sit the STB right on top and I plug it in an outlet usb port on a power bar no issues with heat, cooling pad 15$ at a surplus store.

Does the bottom pan of the T5 have slots cut into it for air movement? If it's a solid bottom your fans aren't doing much.......
