Hello, looking for help with setup for a dreamlink t6

I linked up with server for bev and worked fine for aprox 2 months then suddenly went down. I contacted supplier and got new url and again worked fine for short period (1-2 wks)then went down again then supplier indicated to me that my box "was messing up 403 please make sure to turn off the bev login if watching dish as your box must be one the ones that dont know difference between the too providers" I only have bev not dish.

I did more factory resets and again worked for very short period of time then down. Discussed with supplier and received information that " your box
you sending bad data to server on channel 411 last night"

1) It seems my dreamlink is somehow sending bad data/information to the server and being automatically shut down how do I stop this? ... and

2) How do I fix this bev Login problem

any and all help or suggestions to avoid interfering with their server would be much appreciated!!

I do not mean to hijack but I am having the same issue and i am using Ethernet cable. My supplier told me to use separate receivers for me to watch both if not they will delete my account.

Same issue with my buddy. It was suggested that he rescan all channels and try again. It's only been 1 day since he did a scan so we'll see. He is wired to a wireless bridge.

do a complete new setup start with factory and then a hard reboot and then your 343 then factory reset and then 363 and then factory reset and hard reboot and the tp file and factory and hard reboot and do your scans of sats and then you login info and hard reboot and you should be good to go

lots of things can happen to send bad data.

if you have north and south in the same receiver and you go to a non working channel the receiver will search both servers for a cw. this will cause pining or bad data to be sent.

if you are recording and your receiver freezes and you dont stop the recording it will ping for a cw and bad data will be sent

if you have somthing disrupt your signal like snow on your dish building up it will cause bad data to be sent

sometimes the receiver file like in new linkbox receiver has something in it that will cause glitch in the server connection and cause bad data.

if you can stop any of those things that can help. so if you watching north turn off your south service or keep north and south on different receiver if you can. if you not watching tv turn your receiver off. always make sure your dish and line of site is clear.

that is the best you can do

My buddy was banned again too. No North/South setup. Very basic setup actually. I suspect this is an issue with the T6. No issue with the same setup on T4, T5, NanoHD or Linkbox 9000.

Mine was doing the same thing and I found that when I wasn't watching one but left it on it would freeze up and send bad packets to server. Don't even know what that is but I found it was only happening when both receivers were using the same satellite and both were left on. I only have my receivers on when I'm watching them and if one freezes up for any length of time I switch to a different satellite. I think it has to do with them both using the same lnb. I haven't been switched off since I turn them off as soon as I'm not watching. I figured it was a dual receiver single lnb problem.

Not just T6, happens on my T5 as well, only using North. Very frustrating, especially when the provider blames you. Never happenned with previous providers. So is it the STB or the server?

You pretty much are just guessing if you don't get some data to see what is going on. You might be able to wireshark to the router to get an example packet--I'm thinking it would be DES encrypted and you might have to decrypt to see what you are sending in detail. You are pretty much without any means to fix things if the STB code is to fault--the guys who coded up the box gave it encryption that you are unlikely going to be able to defeat (they have a long history of such and it is a pain).

I suppose someone could code up an application to do box IKS testing--might even be able to fake it with some of the IKS server stuff that one can find (or could find at one time) on line.

You can try erasing channel file or do a factory reset, or both, reload firmware for unit.
Before you do a channel scan after firmware reload, set LNB power to off, if is set to on for 110 & 119.
Then scan your birds.
