Loading channel list

Hello. I've been trying to load Bot1's channel guide to my SV8000, but have been unsuccessful. Are there instructions posted somewhere on how to load the channel list? I tried loading how I would normally load a bin file and it didn't work. I couldn't even pick up the signals for 110,119 or 129. Please let me know. Thanks.

Cut and paste from another site:

To backup your channel list:

1) Insert usb stick in receiver
2) Press Blue button
3) Press Red button
4) Name it whatever you wish
5) Scroll to OK box and press OK

To restore your channel list:

1) Drag and drop your saved Channel List file onto usb stick
2) Insert it in receiver's USB port
3) Press blue button
4) Scroll down to highlight the chnnel list file
5) Press OK >> Update >> OK

The first part (backup) didn't work. Tried it last night and it said something about not having an A/V file. I'll try the second part later today.

Load list on usb stick and insert into stb
Give stb a minute or two to read the usb stick then press menu on remote
Scroll right to 3rd drop down menu and select USB File List and ok on the remote
Select File from the list on the usb stick and then ok on the remote
Select S/W Update from the sub menu and ok on the remote
Once the file loads select yes to reboot
Once the stb reboots you should be good/done

Thanks. I did exactly what you said, but the channel guide didn't work on my stb. Oh well. On to finding one that works...
