did anyone tried to play 1080p/4k videos on android box that comes with receiver

also I have bunch of 1080p HEVC movies and it would be good to know if I can use this as my main android box before I pull the tiger and buy it

I would not buy the prosat hd for android Too many users has doorstops after a short period of time
You would also need to get the android kit and install thAT too
Also it is not a 4k stb

thats not an issue ... the box I'm buying already has android

but I was wondering if Android it's capable of playing videos from my plex server
some are h264 1080p .,. other HEVC 1080p

my current android box works fine with H264 ... HEVC is a problem

guess I'm better off buying Dreamlink and Mi TV box with Android TV os

it's actually less money for those 2 than it is for Prosat HD with Android

lately (because of size) i'm downloading lot of HEVC videos ... my current android box.. can't even touch it.. starts good but audio gets out of sync after 2 seconds ...

it still works great for X264/H264 ... but if I'm paying money, I would like it to be able to handle HEVC so I'm set for next few years


and this thread is not helping.. very mixed reviews
