How to record on STB Emulator

I am using an OTT M8S TV BOX and a STB Emulator and when I go to record it says file missing and will not record. Does anyone know what file is missing and how to rectify this?

not overly certain but I believe that recording is up the IPTV service you sub to and none allow this because it it takes two streams to record.

Just play through a DvD recorder then you can record anything that you are playing!!
