If the footage was real those soldiers would be dead without a doubt.

The footage is real as can be, my Uncle was part of those tests, they were miles away when it went off and hunkered down in the trench when it first went off, they were told to stand up just after the first shock wave went over.

Some at later times in their lives developed cancers of all types, my Uncle died of a rare form of lung cancer, the Army blamed it on smoking, he never smoked a cigarette in his life.

For those that have Google Earth, here are the coordinates for those tests, in standard longitude and latitude, its 37 degrees 07' 46.87" by 116 degrees 04' 03.68", or in decimal degrees its, lat 37.136035 by lon -116.070225.

This is the most heavily nuked place on Earth (to date) if you look at the top right hole it is the biggest bomb crater on Earth, it is over 1350 feet across. And if you get lucky wile in Vegas you can take a tour of the place.

Zoom in if you have Google Earth, you can still see the slit trenches and small towns they built to test these firecrackers out.

Check out the documentary, Trinity & Beyond. It is made up of declassified film from the Atomic Bomb tests - even some from the Bikini Atolls.. Bill Shatner narrates it. There is a bluray version that was released about 5 years ago. the same producer put out another docu called Nukes In Space, but I have never been able to track down a rip of it.
