Example of an iHub repair. First screen shot is of an iHub I bought new in 2009 that locked up once but I recovered with a lot of effort. Although after the recovery it showed a bad mac address it would still connect when version 2.2 was in use.If memory serves me right the mac changed three times. Problem was it locked up again around 2012 lost connection and only showed one solid amber light when powered. Was completely dead and useless until the repair. You can see the result in the second screen shot. Although there are other options an iHub can be brought back to life even after 5 yrs. Just an fyi.
