Seriously tho..........went west on a paid holiday to help with some damage assessments for a few weeks and then went to Oregon to help out my cousin and Aunt (they`re the people I stayed with when I played ball years ago in San Diego). My aunt passed away so I stayed to help fix and sell the house....................then my daughter called from Windsor re the flooding and I came back to a ton of work.

Thanx buddy....nice to be back for some much needed rest after a tough year...my son bought a house and I just this week packed my daughter off the England for 6 mnths on a scholarship doing her Masters in Nursing. So Finally I can have some peace around here.
Our Leafs are becoming a regulation hockey team finally................add a little defense and they may be called a playoff team this season......Philly pretty much exposed how weak they are on the puck in their own zone. Too many losses when leading in the third for my liking............2nd half gets tougher but at least we finally make legitimate progress, not Toronto media progress LOL.

Yeah.............all the screaming I`ve done at Gardiner over the years looks like it`s working. He`s playing a much more structured defense this year but it looks like Reilly has taken his place on the "what are you doing?" line cause he`s terrible. I haven`t lost faith in Carrick cause I see a lot of good things he does..........but those unforced giveaways on bad passouts have got to stop. Leafs are in dire need of a shut down man on the back end but they won`t come cheap. If the Shanaplan stays truethey won`t sell the farm for him. Best I`ve ever seen Kadri play.....for now....I just don`t trust him for a second. I love how the Toronto media are talking Kadri and Selkie in the same sentence, that`s laughable. How can a guy winning 20% of his face offs even be considered a defensive forward?

BTW.......you were right on that choc Lab of my son`s........he`s now about 10 mnths....good dog but freakin` nuts. He`s also developed a taste for their moldings LOL

Expensive toothpicks...........I`m thinking clear birch moldings. House built late 40`s/early 50`s....lots of birch used then around here. At least them toothpicks won`t break off so easy LOL
