Hi there I am running Ipguys and have had only small micro freeze here and there it has been running good. Check your connections maybe clear out cache of box and even try plugin Ethernet cable in direct.

I'm having the same issues. I don't believe it's the internet. I did a speed test and I'm at 178mbps when connected direct to my Shaw modem. That's way more than enough.

Just did some more troubleshooting and the freezing that I'm experiencing has to be my internet provider. I'm with Shaw. When I connect to my Bell internet on my phone the freezing stops. A friend of mine has Telus and not experiencing any freezing.

Also on Shaw, mag box, ipguys and had significant issues over the past few days. Any way around this, as I suspect that it is Shaw manipulating the connection

Im still freezing but when i watch youtube through the box it plays fine i highly doubt shaw could restrict certain things on the box without restricting the whole thing? Makes me think somethin else is goin on. How would shaw know what to restrict how would they know its not an apple tv box? I hope this gets resolved soon!

I agree.

I am with a different service and internet is B*LL and also experiencing the same thing.
A week ago, heck two weeks, 3 weeks ago it was 110% freeze free. Definitely not our Internets or connections lol

The Shaw tech was over this morning and says it's a Shaw issue. He said that there is nothing wrong with my equipment (there's and mine). I showed him the freezing while connected to Shaw then I switched over to my Bell mobility cell phone hotspot and the freezing was completely gone. His "unofficial opinion" is Shaw is working on blocking IPTV paid servers. Not sure if it's possible to do that but how can you explain that Shaw is the only one 99% of the people are complaining about

Just to clarify I didn't tell him it was a paid sub. I said it was KODI

just my 2 cents it was freezing for me too

how this works is its most likely on ipguys end

server load too high or they need more cards to handle the load.

Must be the same thing happening with IPExpress. It's freezing too

But why is it just Shaw it's happening on

It almost sounds like shaw is using port blocking to control the traffic. I don't know if voodoo and express accept vpns but its worth a try.

If you guys are otherwise experiencing freeze-free video viewing with your internet providers, but you're all having issues with nfps iptv, I say that nfps doesn't have enough bandwidth/speed to accomodate the traffic.

Try it at 3 in the morning:if it's better, you have your answer.

Please explain to me why it freezes with Shaw and then when I immediately hook up to my Bell cell phone internet and the freezing is completely gone. How could it be the iptv servers

The distance between the 2 different i.p. providers servers in relation to your iptv providers servers may be exaggerating the problem.

If its true and Shaw is blocking them then I hope IPGUYS can figure out a new url or something to get around it. I am limited for internet where I live (in the mountains) I dont get good cell...

Maybe Shaw is overloading their service in your area - too many customers all trying to use the same line.
Doesn't explain why others say they are getting freezing on IPGuys but not other IPTV services - but Shaw may not be deliberately throttling back the speed for illegal IPTV streaming - they just may not have enough bandwidth in your area.

well, I think Bell is doing that. I have IP Express and it's been nothing but freeze's since they changed to a new URL. I contacted the folks there, but no response.

Let's see... I know Bell isn't...

Shaw Internet 150. I tell them that when I switch to another provider(my cell phone the freezing goes away)

I got 150 as well...so I think if its buffering at 150,the issue is not from our end but the server's end...don't you think so?!!
