I have an old CNX Nano 2 (sd only) converted to ILink and have bev working.
But I get a lot of freezing sometimes that makes it really hard to watch a program.

Could it be the box itself causing the freezing? Or is it most likely server side?
Maybe a newer box would reduce freezing?

We have very good, fast internet, and the box is connected via powerline adapter (in its own outlet with nothing else plugged into it to eliminate interruption).

Thanks for any advice

some boxes work better then others stay away from lime sat ultra

your speed means nothing
if you have high ping or jitter on iks may cause issues

run pingtest.net

slow speeds on iks work fine it more your ping and packet loss and jitter/quality of line more then anything

Those Nano 2's are just freeze boxes. They freeze 24/7 365.

Had a nano2, freezing lots, blamed the server, switched up to a Dreamlink HD 5 years ago and never had problems since. Today a Dreamlink T5 would be my choice, if my old HD was to fail me.

I'm guessing its my old box causing trouble...

I am running a Nano 2 converted to I Link and have been for years with no problem at all . Hardly no freezing , which are mostly cause by the server end .
