I was wondering anybody tried to plug in laptop fan with USB connector to T5 where you normally plug a jump drive?
This way whenever you switch on T5 fan should start too.

Ok. I tried this myself and yes it worked. You can plug a laptop fan to T5 where you plug the usb jump drive.

Any of the standard laptop coolers will work as long as they don't exceed the 500 mA USB port DC power output rating.
If you have a jump drive installed on that port then look for one with a pass through USB connector, and again be sure the total DC current required does not exceed the ports output.
if so then you can get a DC wall wart with a USB connector on it to run the cooler.

I just use a Power-Bar w/ USB- input on the power-bar put it beside the receiver/cooling fan and viola!- Good to go!
