Hi,

I've used IKS before but am not familiar with IPTV. Can anyone tell me differences/similarities of the two, pros/cons?
Are there a north/south IPTVs? If there isn't, will I still be able to get North programing, or will it be based on south content?

Thanks!

For iptv they are all mix channels mostly international, some provider have North and South but limits channels, ppv movies, ppv even and vod. My opinion iptv still need some work on with a lack of channels guide and the freezing, if you have slow and limit internet usage I don't recommend iptv.

I like crown Tv for Canadian.
Crown has 13,000 videos plus 700 + channels
You get all the new movies on IPTV for little $'s a month.

Does Crown have a live tv guide?
We have very fast internet, no issues watching Netflix and such, so I'd assume it would handle IPTV?

Any idea how much data it would use each month? We are capped at 1TB each month, would that be enough?

Thanks for all the advice!

IKS is inherently illegal. IPTV can be illegal, but is cheap enough to do in a legal way. So, I would say stick with the legal one.
Data use depends on your viewing--no way we could guess at that. A movie a night might be a 1 to 3 GB per night. You could google "iptv movie bandwidth" to see what they say.

Figure on 3 to 3.5 gb per hour to stream hd.If ONE tv is on 8 hours per day, you will use 720gb (280 to spare) in 30 days for 1 tv.

IPTV uses only mbs download. Crown does have a live EPG.

We use 10 to 12 gbs per day average.

You would need an iptv box and what I like is Dreamlink T1
Crown gets both South and North!!

Crown is great. Express has a lot more HD channels but if you are worried about data usage you can watch the non-HD or SD channels.
They are both great services regardless, I use both.
