Flashed the DL_HDpvr_121 bin and I could not get any signals in dish settings, I set it up the switch properly, the box came with a bin released in 2012, I did test it with 9421 and 203, wast all good until I loaded DL_HDpvr_121, unplugged the box and tested it with another cable upstairs, works like a charm.
won't pick up any signal after factory reset, loaded Feb 14,106 channel list file and can get signals with upstairs' cable but not the one in the basement, I tested the one in the basement with my sonicview 8000HD, all good.
Tested 3 bins last night, all s and q in red for bin 121 and 120 , in blue for bin 119 but could not sacn the birds.
Really want to know what is the best bin for this box, the purpose to purchase this box is for get dobly sound with my audio system.
Kind of pain to try to get the problem solved, please advise, thanks in advance.

I did load the channel list from feb 2016,could not lock any birds, but same line doesn't have any issue if I connect with my sonicview 8000HD or nFusion HD.
Have you gone into manual scan to see if you have the correct to info

I think so,because if I take dreamlink hd to upstairs, connect to another cable and everything is fine,is it because the cable I run into the basement is too long for dreamlink hd to pick up the signals?

Is the Basement cable going to the same switch? swap the cables around at the switch, sounds like a connection issue to me, whether at the switch or the LNB or the cable end that connects to the receiver.

I did swap the cables and got same issue, drive me crazy,I bought it for hooking up with home theater system but could not get it works.I would double check the cable run into the basement this weekend, I knew there is a damage on the surface of the cable somewhere but did not think it would make huge difference as my other receivers work fine.

Even though the issue is the same the solution might be different It's confusing to those who are trying to help.

I did run the cable from upstairs( works one) to the basement, hooked up with the original Dreamlink HD, worked fine for a few minutes, after one reboot, got "bad or no signal" again, don't know what the f**k is going on, kind of give up.

It could be the quality of the cable the connections to the basement
Can you post your hardware set-up?
