By the "Club House" if you`re referring to the hut at Lesperance & EC Row in front of HH Building Center I tried them a couple times cause I heard they were like Lafayette`s. Maybe I was having a bad day or something cause I didn`t find them as good. In fairness at Lafayette I usually have a belly full of beer from the game of the season before I go in.

Yep Kenney Plaza right next door to Good Life - use to be Hangout
They get em right from Lafayette so should be the same

I'll back Lafayette in any cookoff for Coney dogs - I like the loose ones - I proposed to my wife at Lafatyette Coney many moons ago
Great rivalry between the 2 stores side by side -

Lafayette buys their chili that uses the beef hearts from National and then doctor it up - i used to hang out at the National Coney factory for many years drinkin their beer with Chili Rick - most chili restaurants in Detroit area will know him lol

If they`re that good I`d be there for takeout at least once a week till I got sick of them LOL. I know during MLB season I need a break from Lafayette for a while cause we go quite a bit( I`ve got season`s that I share)....and then start all over when the Lions start LOL............thankfully I hate the Red Wings or I`d be 300 lbs of chili dogs. I`m just 20 mins from the border to Detroit

LMFAO........I used to go to Nemos a while back depending if a certain friend went with me. Now I`m lucky....for BB and football I`ve got a spot back of Cheli`s in private area.....parking is free but we pretty much have to go in and eat after.....but sometimes I just hop the tunnel bus right to Comerica or Ford depends who I`m with and how much we plan on drinking LOL Wings games are a pass in the first tower back of the Joe where that little side door "private" that goes up to the Olympia room.

Actually the last couple years we`ve been doing Cobo Joe`s before games parking there and walking to the Joe.
For me it`s all about who I go with....some of my friends even Cobo Joe`s is an upgrade LMFAO...Ladies I go to Cheli`s

I`m taking a wild shot at this ....there is no way it was called the Happy Dog was it........was that big plastic dog made out of Balloons on the sign????

We spoke before and I`ve only been Santa Cruz I think once...but I remember this place for some reason.
Strange as it seems I also remember every Taco Bell in and around Mission beach, La Hoya and La Mesa.

It was a shot in a million that it may be the same but I doubt it. Would have been funny if it was.

"My kids" played a lot of hockey in Flint and Grand Rapids for the majors of Big Bear tourneys as well as Ann Arbour for the U of M Juvenile and college tourneys. Big hockey area so I know it quite well.
Never been a pulled pork guy...don`t know why but I never acquired a taste for it even playing ball down south I never cared for it.....absolutely hated grits too. HUGE fan of brisket.........only one place just can`t be beat Stacks in KC, if anyone ever gets there have the "end cuts" simply amazing. I go to about 1/3 of all Tigers home games, my son and his buddies go to a lot of the the others now playing next to Ford Field in Comerica Park it`s absolutely a perfect setup and 2 beautiful stadiums. You most likely went to old Tiger Stadium....tons of historic value there but not exactly fan friendly location or seating. Comerica is a huge upgrade.

LMAO...if you ever see a very big guy wearing a Windsor Spitfire (white or black hockey sweater) goalie sweater walking around Ashville go up to him and say "do you know that F.....g Cobra?"....he`ll love it.
