Dreamlink T5 Help

Yesterday I put the 0106 0217 file on my T5, it acted really strange while scanning the channels, and all said and done it now does not recognize 110? I had both 110 and 119 before putting the file on and didn't do a thing to adjust the outside eye. Any thoughts?

your posting in the file section you should post questions in the discussion section for the t5
did you do a factory reset before and after you loaded the file

yes I did, both before and after.

This morning I went back to the file I had before starting all this... 0102 1028 thinking that may fix it.... now I get neither bird showing up... I think I need to go back and start like it is new... I don't remember all settings I need to have ... been so long since I first set up... I have a 1000.2 system... is there a guide somewhere that will tell me settings I need? What file should I use? anything other than factory reset before loading the file?

i am still running the Dreamlink_T5_0104_0215P and have no problems .
i be leave the setting for the 1000.2 if your using the lnb that came with that dish is
lnb type OCS-DP for 119 DiSEqC PORT 1 AND 110 PORT 2 AND 129 PORT 3

load the file and folow these instuctions and you will be good to go


ok to get all the channels back. the t5 can bring all channels back in with out having to edit all the tps to the mpeg4 . you go to options and turn auto tp update to on then reboot the receiver from back switch, if it was already on you will have to turn it off then reboot then go back to option and turn it on then reboot again . if you do not do this it will not work . then go to dish setting and set your sats back up , it will show red bars that is ok hit the red button to scan and it will correct the tps and scan in the new channels do this for 110 and 119 .

- when your in options you will want to set sort by sid and channel in full name as well.
when your all finish scanning the channels in and you want to see the blue bars in the dish setting you will need the go to manual scan and delete the first tps that are dead

I am back up and running... just an fyi, i went to get the file you said you are running , Dreamlink_T5_0104_0215P, but there isn't one like that there is a 0105 0215 and a 0104 0824, I tried to download the 0215 first and got a message "invalid attachment specified" so could never find that file but then got the 0824 file and it is working. Again thanks so much to all, you're the best!!

sorry it was 0104 0824, it was to early in the morning lol glad to here you got it going

PS : the way they keep changing transponder around these days, its good to re-scan every now and then. if you want to re scan your channel and don't want to mess with your settings don't factory reset . just go into menu under channel list and then channel edit , then hit the green button for edit mode then hit the sat button and select the110 sat then hit delete all channels . then hit the sat button again and select 119 sat then hit delete all channels. and then just follow that guide for scanning and you will be good to go
