Porn Star Murdered in Woodland Hills
Damien Michaels found stabbed to death.

Woodland Hills - There's a mystery surrounding a murder that happened at a Comfort Inn across the street from Taft High School on Ventura Boulevard earlier this week.
Investigators did not release the victim's name at the time of the murder... and few details of what happened showed up in the news.
FOX 11's Chris Blatchford has the bizarre story of what turned out to be the murder of a porn star. You can watch his report in the video player.
It all started when a young man checking out of a Comfort Inn in Woodland Hills says he saw a woman outside a third floor room furiously pounding on the door. The frantic woman asked him for a phone and called 911.
Later, inside the room, police found a dead body on the bed... a 53-year-old man who had been stabbed to death.
Det. Dave Peteque, Los Angeles Police Department:
"We did observe several puncture wounds to the victim."
Police say the woman, identified as a friend of the victim, freaked when she saw a broken window and blood and that's when she called police.
FOX 11 News has learned the victim is Damien Michaels, a porn film actor who did around fifty adult movies.
Producer Rob Spallone knew him for years.
Rob Spallone, Adult Film Producer:
"He's one of the oldest guys in the business -- been around a long time."
Damien Michaels' Real name was Michael Conoscenti. Porn industry people say in recent years he acted as a sort of "pimp" who brought young girls into the x-rated business.
In a YouTube video, he made no apologies.
Damien Michaels (in YouTube video):
"Just went out and got girls everywhere... from bus stops to supermarkets... to whatever. Everyone in the business knows that what I'm known to do."
Producer Spallone says he's not surprised by the murder.
Rob Spallone, Adult Film Producer:
"He got hooked on crystal meth and crack and that was the end of it... always looking to scam and scheme to do something."
Detectives say they're working some good leads, but it's a mystery who killed Damien Michaels.
Another adult film figure tells us Michaels "was a nickel and dime player who always aspired to be a quarter."
Now, he's just dead.
