OTT M8S Media box Question

I have search high and low for a true answer to my question . The usb ports on the back of this box can be used for a external hard drives .

What is the maximum hard drive size that it will read from ?

I was thinking it would be like many older style boxes like WD Live Tv Plus / G-Box MX2 that capped off at 2TB max. Well to my surprise with the 4K player on the OTT M8S it had no problem playing anything off of a WD My Book 4TB Ext Hard Drive .

Of course , there are no problem to run an harddisks with its own power supply
2. USB hub require power too, if you connect your hub with external HD which require high power, it is not going to work
So, i may advise an usb hub with it own power supply

that video didnt show any info to my question, We all know it will play off of a hdd duh .

How big of a HDD will it play from ?
