Not sure where to post this so I'll do it here :)
Speed test results from 4 or 5 different sites show 30 - 35 download speed on the computer. When I check the download speed on the Fire tv box it shows a little over/under 24. Nothing I've tried will show a higher download speed on the Fire tv. Both the computer and the box are wired connected to the modem router. Any ideas as to what's going on and how I can get the box to the 30 or so download speed?

What type/brand of router/modem?

And what all is connected to the system equipment wise?

Have you tried speedtest.net? I find that one to be very accurate.

Netgear n450 with just the computer and the Fire tv connected (hard wired), Speedtest is the one I use but tried the others to see if the results are the same. 30-35 down on computer, 23-24 on the Fire tv. I have/had TWC and pay for "up to 20" and was getting 23-24. We had a severe wind storm here and they have been working for the last 4 days to get everything repaired. Now TWC is Spectrum and for some reason when everything was working again I am getting more download speed (30-35) and upload speed. Not complaining, just wondering why the increased download (and upload) is not reflected on the Fire TV. Doesn't make any sense to me. All speed test sites on the computer show the same results (30-35) and all speed test apps on the Fire tv box show the same results (23-24). There aren't any settings to adjust on the Fire tv and I don't see anything you can adjust in the modem/router. I'm stumped and just wondered if anyone here has had a similar experience or has any suggestions. Thanks

See if you can enable QoS on your router, and set the FireTV as a priority, this may help.

Yes, it doesn't matter what port the 2 devices are plugged in to.

There isn't a QoS Setup on the N450
