Hi Boot Loop Then All Dark

Last night got bad signal flashing in and out while viewing, was strange so i powered down with the remote and used the back switch to hard reset. After reset box went into hi boot loop for a few rounds. i hard reset again. Now when switch is on nothing. Power supply lights up and stays lit with switch off and on. Volt meter shows correct voltage coming out of supply.
Any ideas? Did i just become the owner of an expensive doorstop? This unit is only a year, if that, old.
Will try new supply just in case when i can get to town to pick one up.

did some tinkering.
New power adapter had no effect.
Pulled the dl board and replaced with a new one from a different working box, No effect.
Main switch seems to be in working order.
Caps on the board look good to my untrained eye.
This is the end of my highschool electronics class knowledge.
Sadly its bricked to me. Great little unit when it was working.

pwr off the rcvr..unplug all cables..then try booting it...

Didnt have anything except the power cord plugged into it when i was dicking with it, but i will try again.

No go all dark.
