As I did mention before, the buds are more probable than not,, IN
but it's unreasonable to hypothesize that they will have longevity in the post season.

Without experience and missing playoff grit, I theorize the buds will be eliminated in
the first round ,, if the season finishes as it is right now and the buds sneak in, in that
8th and final spot, they will meet Washington in the first round.

It is more conclusive than not, that the Hungry for revenge Capitals (given what happened to them last year)
will mulch the fallen leafs with one of these attached to the Zamboni

Truth be told Cobra is working his butt off doing a reno on the back of his own house and kitchen while my daughter is in England cause I`m sure making a f....in` mess in here.....however that being said he is also using his term of "cautious optimism" where the Leafs are concerned.........mainly because....well they`re the Leafs. You`re right about the media crap...I haven`t been paying any attention to them by just turning the game on at puck drop. I`ve been around long enough to see what goes on and who is doing what out there without a media guy blowing bubbles up my ass trying to tell me what he wants me to see. I was kidding around a buddy the other day saying as much as we (Leafs fans) hate all the blabbering out of Habsville.....Leafs fans will be 10X worse if we were ever to win or go deep into the playoffs. The know it alls will come pouring out of Lake Ontario worse than Florida fish at "red tide".
I get on Facebook with my daughter daily and I`ve noticed all the utter nonsense being plastered all over about the Leafs in story after story when there really isn`t a story........... yet.

The game turned to poop when baby Mathews took a knee thump. I could hear a Leaf nation groan 50 miles away. Tampa's in Montreal tonight and habs are resting players , could be gimme.I don't think the penguins rest players but would expect Columbus to rest their goaltender. Where would the NHL be without the Leafs last minute failures.lol They may make it interesting on the weekend leaving their outcome till Sunday but this time prevail. Washington can pick who they want to play as they play both the Leafs and Bee's. Its a shame they had home advantage in the first round last week. The Cobra is still on the edge of his seat .....hey pal take a few relaxers as the suspense is about to unfold.

Make that seat on the toilet with a few laxatives.........they stunk from about the 16 min mark of the first period. No will to force their issue on the Bolts at all....................I don`t care who they play they had better suck it up because I`ll be one that looks at the total undeniable collapse of not being able to win one point in the last 4 games rather than look at the great season they had in year 1 of a rebuild.
