what a bummer :( I kinda saw the writing on the wall when Nav-X wasn't compatible with Krypton.

Well, it was when they upgraded to 4.1 which, to me, doesn't make any sense if they were going to kill it. There's something going on when a lot of addons are dropping like flies and others just don't work the same anymore.

Ya, your right,,, "There's something going on "

When the movie industry and such says enough is enough, your gonna wipe our industry out just like you did with Music.

In the music industry,, all the key players are gone, what happened to BMG, Geffen, Atlantic, MCA? and so on... all gone because of file sharing.

YES I've done my share of file sharing, but I do believe the movie industry is moving harder and faster to protect their property.

We have seen big busts in the EU, the states are next..

You bet what they say doesn't make sense

"The main reason why the decision was made to discontinue the Navi-X service is the current legal climate surrounding Kodi. In case you aren’t aware, the abundance of preloaded Kodi box sellers has resulted in a lot of heat on Kodi in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, because the people who are bringing the heat have nothing to do with the Kodi community anyway, they’re just leeches trying to profit from the hard work of Kodi developers. Nevertheless, hosting Navi-X playlists is no longer something we feel comfortable doing due to the potential liability that comes with it."

and they say

"We’d also like to recognize all the dedicated playlisters, who we invite to get in touch with us if they are interested in releasing their own addons sometime in the near future."

Moving Navi-x to Kodi is all their doing bringing all the so called heat Navi-x was causing to Kodi.
Shutting down navi-x isn't going to stop these boxes from being sold.I do know that many
of the kodi addon makers like myself aren't going to do addons anymore because we don't feel like Kodi has our backs anymore.Navi-x was easier and much safer for those "dedicated playlisters" which many in the kodi community didn't understand what the word playlist meant.Which leads to other stories not mentioned like the addon devs were pissed at Navi-x`s "dedicated playlisters"because they were able to use the content on Kodi on Navi-x thusly kodi devs claiming their content was stolen.Posting links on Navi-x was entirely different legality wise than it is to making an addon for Kodi so i think Kodi will slowly die now because of the recently rulings.

Kodi wasn't designed to support all the 3rd party addons that popped up. It was simply a 'Media Center' and will go back to being that when all the 3rd party addons die. Peeps using the wrong terminology when they talk about IPTV, streaming, 'paid services', etc. have put the heat, unfairly, on Kodi. I can't help but think that the legit streaming service (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime and others) are also pressuring the powers that be to end these 3rd party VOD addons.

It's funny. Kodi = bad, Android = APK good. IPTV will always be out there. Sort of like re-inventing the wheel. RIP Navi-x. Tough to navigate but great content when found.
