Hi there was wondering if anyone knows how to flash the M8S with newer software and instructions or video on how to do this. Right now have 4.2 on it and was wondering the highest we can flash it is it 5.0 or 6.0?

M8S+ -> up to 5.x.x

M8S -> up to 4.4.2 only.

In order to flash an M8 you would need to load the firmware onto an SD card while the file is still zipped. Insert into the box and hold in the reset button while plugging in. However as stated you can not update the droid version on it. If you're having trouble because Add ons are dropping due to KODI 17 then read here. There is a working solution to make that version of droid operate.

This mygica work around shows kodi 17.0 in information with confluence background. Tried pulse build twice it failed closing kodi app as if corrupt. Mygica is definitely on to something here just needs more work. Using a M8S box with 4.4.2 OS .....going to load each app like years ago and test farther. Anyone get a build other then tvaddons on it?
