Hi,
Does anyone know if MLBN HD (major league baseball network) is available in HD on IKS north?
Tried re scanning multiple times and I cannot find it where Lyngsat says it is.82 Transponder 12.530 channel 2420 or 1420 depending on your set up.
I can get the standard definition on 91 channel 447 or 1447 depending on your set up.

Ok thank you for confirming. Luckily there are only 3 channels on that transponder (fight network, mlb, cooking channel) as I am not getting any of them. Double checked tp settings and I receive all channels on other tp's. No clue.

I have a Dreamlink HD and checked the settings and they are correct as per Lyngsat but the signal bars are red and a scan gets nothing. If I change the polarity from H to V they turn green and the scan goes ok but the channels (all 3 of them) are still not there. I have no clue why this happens. I hope somebody can figure this out.

Exact same thing happens on my T5.

Still no luck here.
according to lyngsat, transponder 12.530 is a horizontal one and when you scan this transponder . it works only in vertical position. THAT'S THE PROBLEM. it does not lock in horizontal, so the question is WHY ?
has anyone being able to scan this transponder successfully?

Seems like I read that the FEC needs to be set or changed to 3/4, 3/4A or some letter on that tp. Think there are a few posts in various receiver sections. I could be wrong seeing I'm not wrapped real tight.

Yes, the FEC setting is the root of this issue. Problem is that not all receivers have an FEC adjustment in their antenna/install settings. I can confirm this is the case with the Linkbox 9000i so it does not see any S or Q when set to TP 12530 of 82. In addition, those receivers that do have FEC settings may still not receive any signal on 12530 when using FEC 3/4. I can confirm this with Pinwheel HD box. If anyone has figured out a way to get around this on these boxes please let us know.

The way I see this is one will either have to edit exsiting tp or add new in the stb. Or if there is a channel editor for that particular stb then that maybe an option. I know there are some guides and or editors for various stb's with in the file sections. I know the SV can be edited within the stb and through an editor. As it stands now and seeing the age and the fact that support died off for most of the older stb's years ago. If one can't edit using one of those methods above then it maybe a dead issue on that tp.
I guess and depending on the stb one could adjust and possibly use another satellite in the list that has 3/4 already set for certain tp's if it is not a possible to adjust the FEC any other way. It could be possible to adjust the tp's in that satellite to match another. I know ES 9/121 and ES 16/ 61.5 has 3/4 listed and set under some tp's. Haven't seen any listing 3/4A but I haven't looked through all of the satellites in the list. Could be a linear sat. that has it listed I suppose that maybe able to be adjusted.

If you can SSH into your box using Winscp, assuming it's a linux box, then you can tinker with the satellites.xml list or update it with a new one. Google it

Also if anyone knows how to change the FEC settings on a jynxbox v2 that would be great.
