USS Gerald Ford.....
Wikipedia says it can hold 75+ planes, that means if it was a country it would have at least the 51st largest air force.........

When Willy Wonka died the Ompaloompas were out of a job, one way to save space.

The U.S.S. Nimitz is 1,092 feet overall length.
The U.S.S. Gerald Ford is 1,106 overall length.
Difference is 14 feet.

Big enough to be easy to see and easy to target. No stealth. Needs three ships around it to defend it from just about anything. Another three ships to keep it supplied. Yes, it does the job that a WWII ship was needed for, but how good is it in modern days?

My Canadian Son (now US) did Two tours on the U.S.S. Nimitz, was in charge of the arresting gear <br />
(Big %%% cable) that caught the planes

I would like to see a running gag in a slasher movie with a ship called Trump.
"I heard a thump".
"Did you say Trump?"
"No, thump--I think I heard a thump!"
Thump went the head as it hit the deck.
"Did you hear that? I'm sure I heard a trump--I mean thump. Uh...hello... hello" Thump, thump, thump.
