M8S Streaming box

I have a M8S streaming box, It is plug into my router with a cat 5 cable for my updates. I have a hard drive plug in to a usb port which I watch stored shows/movies using 4K player. How can I get that hard drive to be found on my laptop with a wireless connection. I had no problems seeing it when it was plugged into my old western digital live tv plus . There must be a shared option setting that a just can not find .
