No Picture

My friend has a Jynxbox V30 (clone) and uses B3ViksTV. Some channels give sound only and no picture. For example the UFC fight last night and all of the PPV channels (all the time), sound but no picture. Is this an issue with the service, hardware, or perhaps the setup.

Any insight would be helpful as my friend's wife is driving him crazy.....

You will never get PPV movies on BEv as they do not have all day ticket. In other words if you are a real subscriber to the service and purchase a PPV movie you will see the movie then when it ends after one showing you would have to pay for it again to see it again. Since all iks services are using real cards red flags would go up on cards that purchased the same movie on the same cards multiple times.

Thanks Riverman, that makes sense. However, there still must be an issue as the UFC didn't have a picture either. I noticed on another thread that the UFC was shown on this service.

I believe that the audio on HD channels does not get scrambled, so if your friend turns to an HD channel that's is not open by his service he will get the audio but no video. So he might have tuned to the HD channel of the fight but in fact the fight was only show in SD on his service.
