any one with a jynx hd v30 I need your help. trying with no luck to connect to my dvr, does not have a hdmi input. tried both with converters 3 wire and 5 wire connections. worked fine with jynx v16 that just died why i got v30 could not find another v16.running hdmi out to hdmi in on tv works fine. just get a grey screen hooked up to dvr. anybody got a tv or dvr working that dont have a hdmi input with a v30?

V30 has inbuilt DVR function that works through the USB port. You can buy a USB to S.A.T.A. case very cheaply,add a 2.5" hard drive and you have a P.V.R. Works well with H.D. format but not with D.V. which tends to be a jerky recording. In addition you should not be able to record from a HDMI cable as the standard forbids it, just another inconvenience added by the spoilers of this world.

You could try lowering the resolution to 720p. 60hz
