i am trying to fit a dish 1000+ to a sonicview 8000hd box, i attached the box cable directly to lnb 1, the instructions say too, this is the 119 lnb. i changed the tp numbers to 21500 and turbo8. the dish signal shows about 54%. when i scan the satellite it does not find any channels. i tried with the 22k switch on and off. no difference. tried with a different dish with universal single lnb aimed at 97w. it found lots of fta channels, good picture but no sound on any channels. i tried another sv8000hd box does exactly the same. only shows signal on vertical channels not horizontal, checked for corrosion on cables look ok. i used to use three seperate dishes, with a 4 in 1 out diseqc with no problems any help please before i go crazy from lack of sleep......

That lnb has an internal diseq and should not be used with another switch Turn diseq on and assign 119 to port 2 ,110 to port 2 etc

hello, thanks for the suggestion, i found the sound problem one of the jack plugs was coming out, but i still am unable to scan any channels using the 3 lnb 1000+ dish. if i connect the coax direct from my sv8000hd to a universal lnb on a dish pointing at 97w it finds channels with high signal and medium quality. if i disconnect that dish and connect to the input 1 of the 4 cable connectors under the tripple lnb it shows signal strength of about 56% but wont scan any channels using 110 or 119, i have tried 2 different original dish 1000+ multi lnb,s. has anyone got these 1000+ dishes to work with sonicview 8000hd boxes. if no one can help me can i get the adapter bracket and fit 3 universal lnb's with a 4 into 1 diseqc.

those lnbs need a lot of power to run them
Usually used with a dp44 or a power inserter

if you're using this setup for 110,119 and 129 its pretty simple to setup using the TRIPLE 3 LNB HOLDER BRACKET DISH NETWORK 119/110/82/91 YOKE ADAPTER from ebay but you'll need the oval dish, find the 119 in the middle and tweak it until they all come in. its a pain but it will work the signals won't be all that great but in the 70's on most tps some will be lower but this is a hard setup to get all 3 and just use the dss lnbs on this setup

He has a Dish 1000+ already, no need for the bracket.

And the Dish 1000 LNB's internal Diseqc switch settings are..... Diseqc port # 1 = 119, Diseqc port # 2 = 110, Diseqc port # 3 = 129, Diseqc port # 4 = 118.

And for that LNB to run correctly without burning up your receiver you will need the DPP44 switch power inserter, (not the switch, just it's power inserter) and it needs to run up to the #1 receiver port on the switch on it's on coax.

This way the receiver will not be affected by the power hog Dish 1000+ LNB.

And don't use an external switch, all it will do is mess things up.

as i only have a single cable running from the receiver to the dish it is attached to the lnb 1 connection, can i put the power inserter between the receiver and the cable by the tv, or does it have to be attached close to the dish at the other end of the cable.

like Terryl said you need the power inserter the way its connected you connect a small cable to the LNB input on the receiver then connect that cable to the power inverter then connect the cable coming from the dish to the other side of the power inverter then connect the inverter power supply to the wall power socket and voila all done
