Dns fail

Im getting DNS Fail
Never had this problem before.
My subscription is up to date, and all information is correct.
I moved from the city to the country.
I am using a wireless powerline (always worked before)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Generally with a DNS fail on an SV unit the issue is not connecting to the internet.

A few things to check:

Make sure the wireless powerline is being received in the router and showing up with an IP going to the receiver

Reboot all your equipment and see if something just glitched

Remove the power line and see if it connects

Check the lights on the back of the hub and make sure they are on

Check in the receiver menu to make sure it's populating an IP

Start with some of those things.

I'm pretty sure the receiver is not connecting to the router, more than likely.

In some houses power line adapters will not work as some parts of the house will be wired of a different circuit so there is no connection between the adapters.

they can be on different circuits.they must share the same ground
