According to Dave Meltzer, the backstage segment with Swagger talking to various superstars was heavily edited from how it was taped.
The original script called for Swagger to be very cocky, saying a line such as, "Did you see what just happened?" Someone would have then responded with a, "Yeah, Shad turned on JTG." Swagger would then run into Shelton Benjamin and say, "Do you even still work here?"
WWE decided that this would make Swagger come off as too much of a mid-card comedy figure. The segment was re-taped with Swagger acting completely serious. For the Benjamin part, the line was changed to, "Who’s the real Gold Standard?"
