I think I have all my options on my T5 sorted out now. It seems to work good for me. My only problem is the EPG. I am only looking at 82 and 91. The remote they sent me is for the T6 unit. When I push the blue button the guide switches to 1522 (history channel) no mater what channel I am on. So what is the best way for me to load the EPG?

My epg button is in the middle of the remote a blue one. I have left it on the history channel for well over an hour but only some channels populate and not TSN which is what I want.

Put it on 1202, it will populate very quickly for 91.....not sure if that will populate 82.

Test it and see.

make sure you are on All Satellite (not my spelling), then Sat and push it again to see the choices

I would have the occasional dreamlink which would not populate well
Doing a factory set,re-inputting settings and rescanning usually fixed it up

Much respect bro but those issues normally come up when people play around with there settings (not that you would.lol) and then the EPG is compromised because of a setting problem.

Sometimes less is best.;)

I do have a bit of experience if you consider 100 or so a bit...lol
My procedure is a last resort if all else fails

If I just want it to show 2 days I set it on 1199 for about 30 seconds and if I want to get it for a week I use the blue button but it needs to sit on it for about 5 minutes. The only problem is you have to redo it every time you restart your tv.
