.....i'll be nicer, maybe you're somewhat new to this......i have a sonicview 8k i've been using since the start of fta(lucky choice,lol)...lots of receivers have come and gone,lots. mine was already an hd stb but i had to upgrade the board. same for nfusion and viewsat hd boxes, to name a few that have been around a long time, but each needed the up grade. now, you name 3 others that i believe also require the 8psk board that may be preinstalled already.....i literally will cry when my sv is toast and many others have rated in very highly....i actually have two for the last few years,lol......you need to read what others are saying in the forums...the future of iks isn't very positive....
