Well I see one thing wrong, TP 12224 is a spot beam meant for certain locations, use TP 12414 it is a CONUS beam that covers a very large area, you should have no problems with that one.

did U get your answer ???
if not and still have problems...symbol rate.....20.000 ms/s..does NOT go with transmission......turbo8psk
U should ADD anoder TP 12224...Symbol rate 21.500 and transmission......turbo8psk ..yhey go together..
Thev U could test different polarity...and one of them will come-up..
good-luck
It should be OK...I know ...I had the same problem..
There could be others TP's with the same issues...
Follow the same proceedure.

hi again..
ok........this is getting very hard to discern......
could u pls. give me your settings under manual scan or pid scan.......
my tp12224 comes up under the freq. as number 54....it reads....21500 ms....polarity = V......and the transmission = DVBS QPSK..
i have noticed as i change the freq. tps.....that this goes in and out of turbo8psk and dvbsqpsk..........
does any of this make sense???
I figure if i have your complete settings under manual scan ....i hope this is the one to work on ....that i might get something that will allow the sat dish to tune in to 119...and i get a blue signal instead of always red......no connection...
OR....should i just do a complete reset on the receiver
best to you all

Again...You will not see anything on satellite 119 with those TP settings, (12224) it needs to be set to 12414.
And symbol rate needs to be .....21.500 ms/s
and polarity needs to be H (or L)
It should look like this..
Your settings should be.::::sat 119
freq.....12.414 ghz
symbol rate.....21.500 ms/s
polarity......H
transmission......turbo8psk
pilot .....off
fec........auto
video pid....auto

to change to the setting above i have to go to frequency and move it to number 19...then change all the other data.....is that what you have to do????
because if i just turn to PID on the 119 sat ........i get the number 1 freq. which is 12.297...sym rate..is 20000 ms/s Polarity is H and Transmission is set at dbvs qpsk.......
I have done a factory reset .....................i am having no problems getting 110 to come in.....all in default....didn't have to mess with any of the settings.....BUT....119 .....just won't come in..
still at a loss......
So if i go to number 14 and use your setttings and leave it on that screen on the TV....then go outside and try to tune the dish...will it come in???????

I don't have your type of receiver, but the settings are all the same.
On 110 the default TP is 12224 and that is a CONUS beam.
12224 on 119 is a spot beam, and may not be active in your area, that's why I told you about the other TP 12414.
