But IKS business is not worth the time and effort doing it. Its way too slow

yes, I confirmed it, the new stand alone server does not exist, and i do not think it will exist in the future

There is only one provider and the same provider services the most expensive here and the cheapest, its the same thing

There could be another with different IP and different port and it will be the same thing.

All will go down at the same time , pretty much

Q: Do the seeders need to make changes whenever a channel moves to a different transponder? At least one channel I know of was coming in pretty well until it changed transponders a few days ago and now nothing. Thx.

you need to do a fresh channel scan because most of channels were moved by charly

I did rescan the channel(s) I lost but it still doesn't come in on the new transponder. I just get a black screen which indicates it is tuned in but is waiting for a keyword which never comes.

networks cards overheat and they start freezing
hd modules overheat and channels start freeing
lnbs get old and channels start freezing

most receivers are many years old, there are no new receivers, because iks sales went dead

this is not an excuse and it does not apply to all

but it could be the case for many

i have friend that repairs these things, because in mexico sometimes is cheaper to repair
he has a few mountains of bad boxes, of these problems i just mentioned


the other problem that causes freezing


charly is not going to sit around arms crossed watching everybody enjoy themselves with cheap tv

he is doing a very good job of creating that anger in all of us

you know they have a 24 /7 team doing account audits, sending ecm, disabling cards, etc , etc

everytime they disable accounts, channels start freezing

and you know all of the things that imply an account

the receiver and the job done to them , buying them transporting them across the border, doing whatever job it has to be done
the activation
the money for the activation
the etc, etc, etc

all of that is gone to waste

and start all over again

its not easy

specially when hardware needs to be moved across borders

and now we have the cops looking for these receivers at borders, they are not just looking for amo, guns and money
they look for these receivers from dave and charly

and theres a secret sauce that nobody talks about, that only exists in 3 or 4 places and it must be tough to get it after all these years, i used to get it myself many years ago , but people are moved and its hard to get the connection

i should not talk about that

just to remind everybody that its not an easy or cheap activity

and i keep telling the admins that there are many people complaining about the freeze, and they explain all of these things that i am explaining

If nobody offers the service, it will be gone by now, because there will be no money to fund the operation

and the folks who do not have good internet and can not have iptv, they will have nothing to watch or complain about

hope this helpsYeah yeah i heard all be before it has nothing to do with the service.Oh it's not that u can't watch anything.The Niebuhr tried to watched 190,or any mid to high 100's(actually any specialty channel) and then 182 and 182 must of froze 35-40 times in 1hour and that to him is not worth watching.Also maybe the others are watching all day.But the fact is it's useless when peak times come along and weekends also.So i guess the ones that work should just stay home and watch tv all day.So does that make it my internet my equipment?Must be, just not on your end.

1: Service is back UP , just as Mr.TurboHD states
in PM #2 a few hours ago !

2: THEY , are obviously anybody else outside of you
the "resellers" and "US" the iks-clients .

3: Waiting 4 DAYS before PMsing ( kind of like P.M.S. )
simply shows that some of "US" are familiar with
FTA , ECMs , etc.

Let's see STATUS of service on a dedicated
forum label......TURBOHD STATUS sounds good.

It would save lots of time & effort on both ends.

I am sorry that I had to go on a long driving trip for a delicate family business

There are not that many reliable internet connections while driving to the place I am going up in the mountains, also the
stress of being robbed, kidnapped , etc , while i get there

one lane road not wide enough for two cars, with thousand meter deep abyss, no gas stations, roads full of holes, no cell phone signal for long periods of time, famous for bad people dropping trees in the middle of the road so you stop and they rob you
thats is if you are lucky, they only rob you

that is the every day life of the mountain people in the region

this is how it is in this region where i am going

All that stress make me give the wrong answers sometimes

I have a t5 also down but in my case I can’t get ch 101 and got bad or no signal. . I have 18 volts to lnb so in my case I think my lnb crapped out . Can you get 101 ? Free channel you don’t need to be connected to server . If you can’t get 101 we have a strange problem

yeah i get 101. and 9421 is a sure fire way to see if your qpsk module is okay.
are you running a single lnb?

Are you using a dpp44 or any switch with an external power supply?
The T5 can power a single LNB OK. A twin will run it hot. A triple will cook the module in an instant. How about a cooling fan on the T5?
A simple power inserter on port 1 of your LNB takes all of the load off of the T5 (and my linkbox 8000 HD). And saves the qpsk module. Just a tip. Running over 4 years with no hardware issues using a dpp"special" triple and separate dish for 129.

We have to assume that he deserved to be banned (a month?) but my south is not working and I always pm'd him- no outside email address or site that I know of. I doubt it's an ecm, maybe mine just ran out. Server connects, no service.
