Receiving PM's

Wondering why when I reply to a PM it does not show up in my sent messages? Does the receiver of the PM have to be online for this to show up? Currently he is offline.
Has to do with 'IKS other Paid Discussions', thats why I posted here.

hit settings in top right corner then select General Settings >> scroll down till you see private messages >>> put a check box in SENT mail >> Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default.......... have a good day .......

Thanks nob0dy, that was already ticked off, so I am not sure why I am not seeing the replies to PM's? I sent a reply to the same PM this morning and still nothing shows in sent messages that I did that? Perhaps they have to be absolutely new messages only that appear in the sent folder?
Just tried that and even new messages don't show up in my sent folder. Could the receiver of the PM's be blocking them perhaps?

Thanks jtpl, looks like I did have the maximum allowed, so that is probably why I could not send any more. Deleted most and will try again. Appreciate the feedback.
