Once you get your code and input the information CORRECTLY, you should connect to the server right away. If it does not connect right away then you have either made a mistake inputting the info or something else could be wrong with your settings. Good luck with it.

It had been stable all day long. Watch a couple of sd and hd channels with very minute freezing. I think you might have to recycle power to you modem, router and the receiver. Leave power off for a few minutes before re-connecting and see what is the results. If you have two receivers, make sure that only one receiver is connected to the modem (LAN), unless you have payment for two receivers.

today , i brought my receiver, my cables and switch and lnb's to my brothers places,, all worked well. great signal
when i reinstall at my place , still get no signal, blue lines for reception. don't know what else to do...

After reading the post again....seeing that you brought your receiver, along with other equipment to another location and it worked then you really need to check for outside signal blockage or dish alignment.

Either way, its best to post in your receiver section. Or post the receiver you're using here and one of the staff here could move all your related post and start a thread for you.

Walmart Canada carry the Vanilla brand. There are kept with Customer Service. Ask for it and they have all denominations. They are kept under lock due to people being scam lately by CRA imposter.

Thanks buddy. I finally had time to check it out, after reading your reply, and you're right. Something is not kosher with tuner, I think. Narrowed this down to receiver tuner possibly faulty. Only picking up SD. Another receiver was working fine for HD.

Yes, Bell uses a 20" dish. The dish size I posted for inside both footprints (70cm/26.5in) is from Satbeams for a FTA oval offset dish. Maybe email Satbeams to answer your question.

BEV and DN dishes have skew setting. Most FTA dishes have no skew setting unless you mount them with a motor. I'm sure that's why Satbeams recommends a larger 70cm/26.5in dish.
