Can anybody release a mac of mine that was subbed to IPGUYS and has expired? The reseller is no longer around.
Thank You

There is a Youtube video on returning to factory settings. If I remember right it has to be done 2 times in a row to take effect.

If I am correct, releasing the mac is from the resellers selling portal. They have control of the mac.
Thanks

By reverting to factory default everything is wiped out. You then have to re-enter the portal information.

Entering the portal information in the box is not the issue. I need the mac released from the resellers portal.
Thanks

That's complete BS if they are holding you Mac addy hostage!
That's what happened to me, I bought mine from ipguys.in.
How long does the expired Mac takes to get released from a reseller panel?

Thank YouHave you tried to get a iptv guys sub that was refused. If the reseller is gone chances are its deleted, I am assuming its a mag box.

It is an avov box and the person used to sell on this site but is no longer a reseller. The mac says expired in the reseller portal when I tried subbing with another reseller. It sees the mac but not deleted yet from the previous reseller. Maybe it gets released over time. Time will tell unless I can find a super reseller who will release it for me, I will just have to wait it out.

buy a new REAL box that doesn't have a fixed mac addy and use an APK or EMU
and make up your own mac address

Any advice on a new real box that I can make up a mac? Dreamlinks, Avov and Mag is what I have used in the past. Fyi..Day 2 of my sub expiring and the mac is still in the system for ipguys and reseller gone.
Does anybody know if it will get released over time automatically?

I know on a buzz or zoomtak you can enter your own mac addy
Your reseller should deleted all his expired accounts from his panel if he knew he was going to retire from the business.
Now you will just have to wait until the owner of the server decides to clean up his user data base.
Some of the services here - like OK2 and EpicStream - have their own apk so you can use a User ID and password instead of the MAC address.
If you are just looking for something cheap - maybe try an Amazon Firestick - I think they are $35 now but were as low as $29. You just plug them into an HDMI port on your TV and into power. The new ones have Alexa voice on the remote - they are a nice little device. Put on an apk like OK2 and a few other apks like Terarium and you're good to go.
If you're looking for something a little more advanced but more expensive - the Buzz 3000 XPL is a nice box.

Thanks Dishuser
I will look into picking 1 up. It looks like I am late to the game for the free buzz xpl 3000 draw. Somebody already won..you sleep, you lose.:noidea:
But doesn't the Mac address auto delete over time when it expires?

No it doesn't. It is up to the owner of the server. Some dealers leave old expired MACs on their dealer panel in case their client was just late paying their monthly fee - they don't have to add a new client - they just click on renew to add a month.
Some dealers also leave old MACs on their server so that the client can NOT leave them and go to a dealer that is selling the same service for less money.
I'm not saying anyone here at Satfix is doing that - but I know of some dealers that do that.
There was also a couple of services that used to sell their own receiver imported from China that they modified to make it hard to change services.

I think I just found something for the CMG to do over the holidays
holding mac addy's hostage is nothing compared to holding their panel(s) hostage:tehe:

iT IS VERY SIMPLE TO GET IPGUYS MAC ADDRESS RELEASED.
ASK THE NEW RESELLER, YOU ARE PLANNING TO BUY SUBSCRIPTION, TO SEND A REQUEST TO IPGUYS TO REMOVE/DELETE YOUR MAC ADDRESS AND IT WILL BE DONE WITHIN ONE/TWO DAYS.
IT IS THAT SIMPLE

And he replied to my private message saying the mac is not on his panel but i have proof that payment was processed and sub activated by him. He had released my mac from a previous reseller in 2016 and was I subbed to him this past year and now apparently the mac is not on his panel. Maybe he used the services of another reseller to release my mac from my previous reseller.
Now I am stuck.

My mac is still being held hostage and the person in question who I subbed from claims it's not in his pane but I have 100 percent proof it was purchased from him. Shady business dealings..
