Been having problems connecting to server via wifi lately. Tried the Vonet first with no success, now am trying the D-Link powerline cpl av 500. It does connect okay, all three indicator lights are solid green on both units, both plugged into the wall outlet, but when I try to connect to the server to get my Dreamlink T5 for TV it says can't connect to server? I have all the correct info in place, so not sure why it isn't working. Maybe the static info is incorrect?
I have read quite a lot of posts explaining how to setup the static connection, but it does connect, so I am baffled to why I get no wifi connection to the server?

On the T5 if the receiver was not seeing the internet when you select network setting it will display no internet in bold letters, so if you don't see that the internet is there . some servers are sett up that if it getting bad info from your end it auto bands your user id and you will never connect so if your sure all info is correct maybe contact your seller and have then check if your account is ok

You have one post on this subject already, one is enough, pick one and I will delete the other.

Terryl, I did read your reply in the post in the wifi area. And I have moved the receiver to the other location, hooked it up 'wired', and it works. So guess it's a wifi thing and my modem router.
The T5 has a WiFi option, if so what type of dongle does it use for WiFi? I will check my neighbors setting to see if I can find WiFi.

the t5 does not have a wifi option
That is what I thought too, unless maybe they updated the software to allow usb wifi since I had my T5 many years ago...
I had a gaming wifi adapter hooked up to a router that was serving as a network switch and ran my T5 off my neighbors wifi until he couldn't pay his bill anymore. LOL
Pirating satellite from pirated wifi makes you feel badass.
