never happen in the us, this would have taken at least a year,that takes a lot of planning and organization, job well done, thanks for the pictures

This would have easily taken nearly 10 years in QC, Canada..
Hey we just managed to open our "bridge to nowhere (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/dorval-circle-s-overpass-to-nowhere-finally-opens-to-traffic-1.4454911)" which started being planned in 2005, and construction started in 2009. Linking one of our major highways to the airport. $344M and over a decade later... Because we start to build, and worry about the "technicalities" later.. ;)

what was missing was those that stand around leaning on a shovel discussing ??? getting great wages, here every one had a job to get it done

You're absolutely right. No one has the guts anymore to take take responsibility and just get the job done. Everything has to go to studies, committees and sub-committees and then to the lawyers and back again. Then lather, rinse REPEAT.
