I was on NFPS IKS and as everyone know by now Their IKS is gone. I recently found 2 other PS and set them up. I re scanned the sats. I am missing channels. some work OK but can't get most from 100's to 196 or so. I only get 3 or 4 of them. History, Animal Planet and Travel Channel with freezing. 200's seem to work fine. When I scanned I noticed that 129 signal was great strong in the 90's but the bars were red. I get nothing on 129. I was working all OK on the NFPS until it went down. Need any ideas as to what to try.
I checked the servers and they are both up.
Dreamlink T5 IKS
Turbo dish new lnbs.
110, 119, & 129.
Was working OK on NFPS.

Fixed some problems. Was an ECM. But still have red bars on 129 sat and can't scan it. Need help with that?? It is showing signal and quality in the 90's but with red bars. Why red bars??

what are your settings for 129?
Eagleclaw,
If you had scanned channels working when using NFPS, why did you re-scan? The channels don't change (well not often), however the channels that are opened by the server(s) do.
Did you factory reset before scan? If so your TP's are messed up.
Red bars are either your switch is set incorrect or the TP's are not set to Turbo8. Try diseqc set to port 3 and TP's to Turbo8 for 129 and see what happens, scroll to TP 12457 on 129 as anything below that is not supported by IKS.

Are you using the Dish 1000 LNB for these satellites??? If so it could be a DC power problem, unless you have the DC power inserter for the DPP44 switch connected to the #1 receiver port on the D1000 LNB, then your running the LNB with less DC current then it requires.
This could cause all sorts of problems if just using the receiver to power the DC current hungry D1000 LNB.

I have never been able to get sat 129 on this T5. I bought it about a year ago. Could the D100 or D 300 board be loose or bad???

I am using Dish Turbo HD dish 3 lnb.If your not using the DC power inserter for a DPP44 switch then your problems could be lack of enough DC current to run the 3 LNB's in the Dish Turbo 3 head LNB.
95% of the FTA receivers out there can only supply 500 mA of DC current, the D1000 LNB needs at least 750 mA to run right.
And 129 has a funny foot print, you may need a bigger dish for that satellite at your location.
Eagle,
What Terryl says is correct. You might have gotten away with the T5 powering that LNB for a while but as power supply weaken then the LNB becomes to much. It's kind of a wonder it worked from the get go.

OK where to get a better power supply???

Try Ebay.
The D1000 LNB's only work with a DP44 switch power inserter (don't use any other type) connected to the #1 port on the LNB, this has to be done on it's own separate coax as the normal FTA receiver does not like the unusual load on the DC power inserters receiver port, it could over time cause the receiver to fail.
You do not need the DPP44 switch, just it's power inserter.
The other 2 receiver ports on the D1000 LNB will work just fine for any FTA receiver after this is done, you can also add a second DP single LNB to the #4 port on that LNB this could be used for any circular polarized satellite, (like 82W or 91W) or the special LNB for 118W.
The D1000 LNB has it's own internal Diseqc switch so your limited to 4 circular polarized satellites.

You are way off track. I have a dish HD Turbo dish all switches are built in. My old Sv8000hd worked fine on it without any other devices or switches. It's modern. It has all 3 lnbs built in. That is not the problem. It is new . I just replaced the lnbs about 8 months ago. Was working fine with the SV8000hd. I just got tired of the GOO3 and crap and bought a T5. I thought that the Turbo card was in it and it well maybe. I just have not cracked it open. When I purchased it it said it had the latest 300 HD board in it. Now I guess my next step is to crack it open and see what is going on with it.
If I only need a power supply that will power the board for 129 where can I get one??? 110 and 119 are working OK. If I need a new turbo board where to get that as well??
Thanks for all the comments.

If your picking up HD channels on 119 and 110 then the HD module is fine....check that first and if they work then i would say Terryl is 100% right on track with the power inserter.

Goodness knows I appreciate eveything you guys are suggesting. Thanks to all.
I think you maybe right on that power supply. now PM me where to get one that will work?? I know it will have to be more powerful than the one I have. Please PM me where to get one.
Again thanks to all.
Hey guys, as soon as they get the new high speed Fiber optic cable fired up out this way , I am am gone IPTV anyway. Anybody want to buy a good used T5 or a SV8000HD and GOO3 modem. HA!!!! Thanks guys. Out in the Boonies.
