I have had my Buzz for the past few days. Trying to familiarize myself with it. I have a question in relation to how quickly I can begin to watch tv:

Whenever I power on, I get choices of live tv, vod, etc., and have to press ok on the live tv icon to start watching tv. Is there a way to set up the box, so that when I power on I would be able to see the last channel I was watching before I powered off?

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yes. My mag would play the last channel I was watching upon powering on.

You are right. There are many more options on the Buzz. I guess I was stuck with a Mag mentality...lol.

When I exit out of the server for the night I turn the box off.
Next morning when I turn it on and click to get onto the server my box is on the ch that I was viewing the night before.
So before I turn it off for the night I put it on a news ch for morning and it is the ch that comes up when I go into the server in the morning.

What happens if you leave it playing and don't turn it off but turn off TV only? Does it keep playing or it automatically stops playing because you turned off your tv.

It does keep playing but when you turn on TV again the box automatically goes to standby

So if you forget to turn off the buzz or go back to menu, and just turn off the tv, the buzz would keep playing and use the bandwidth?

mine just starts playing last channel
Mag box has the ability to auto turn off when tv is turned off. When you turn the tv on, the mag box automatically turns on and starts playing last ch. This is what OP wants to know about the buzz box.

the buzz isn't just an iptv box though
This is not the answer to OP's question. You are now saying that buzz has the Auto turn off/on feature.

I ll try again for an answer. Let say you are playing NBC ch. You now gotta go eat dinner and you turn off TV only, not the buzz box. Does the buzz box then automatically switch to standby or it continuously play NBC ch? If it keeps playing, the bandwidth usage is continuous. If the box is set to Auto Shut off to ON, does it put the box to standby when you only turn off the TV? When you turn the TV on, does the box go to menu or it starts playing last ch?

if you turn the box off you have to select live tv to get last channel playing
it's not a mag box(thank god) and has more features than iptv
and if I didn't tell the OP that how is it they understood?
