Scheduled recording

Hi all,
Is there a way to setup scheduled recording without leaving the app running?

I can only get something to record if I either record it live, or schedule the recording and then leave the IPTV app running. If I either put the box in standby, or close the IPTV app... it doesn't wake up and record.

Is this expected behaviour?

Was wondering why youre using an app instead of 'live tv'? Is there a benefit of using the app?

Ok....I had noticed in some other threads that peeps were using the app instead of live tv. Wasnt sure why......

I was using the apk till today,now I’m using live tv,so much better
