Hey guys,
I've noticed that after the last two updates for the buzz I cannot use my ok2 sub without relentless freezing. I've even tried two other services and the same thing.
I was made aware of some other users of the buzz of this same thing and I couldn't understand why because at the time I didn't have that issue. And they were saying when they tried the service on the mag device it was connecting flawless and no freezing.
Is it possible that whatever tweaks are being done to the buzz app is affecting some iptv services or is it that OK2 is experiencing heavy freezing for the past week and a half?

I'm swaying towards the issue being the app itself, but more like something in the update that messed with the unit as a while.
I tried using STB that is installed on the buzz and that too is freezing heavily. Tried three services so that rules out a particular service having issues

a few strange events have happened lately
freezing
get kicked out of kodi and it goes to live tv
and when in settings and exit to live tv keyboard shows up

That's very erratic but always, they will take note and release a fix very soon because those last two updates have unsettled the buzz

I dont think they take note , because they keep messing everything up. Like I mentioned before turn off the updates ,although the wifi is better like 3 updates ago lol.

for the past week I'm getting alot of freezing on alot of channels on an android box using stb emu. So not only on the buzz & ok2.

I am picking up the buzz today. Should I stop the updates and just use it like out of the box or hold off on the purchase?

Hey bud, how did you stop the updates? I'm thinking of a way to revert back to the original version of the buzz other than doing a factory reset

It must be a buzz app issue then because right now 2 hours is a long time without freeze. I'm confident the buzz team will sort this.

mine is doing weird stuff like when I turn it on I have to go into the menu and refresh the channels,otherwise its just a blank blue screen,last night I had no epg at all,the channels showed but no epg.I uninstalled ok2apk and reinstalled and thought all was good,turned it on this morning and blue screen only,had to repopulate to get the channels to show,the epg does work now.

What would you know about the Buzz team? I have not sèen you post about any issues

So it looks like it is the buzz box freezing with the feedback on the forum. I will hold off on purchasing the box until an update comes through.

It's just an update to solve it and they do come through for us, just that this particular update fixed a number issues but it probably triggered a reaction elsewhere. The buzz is worth purchasing bro, by the time you get it an update will be out for it.

you have only been assigned a user name and password Your seller would have to change it so your mac addy is on his panel

haven't looked since ok2 runs fine on my 2 other boxes
it used to run perfect on my buzz until about a week ago
I thought it was the service until Angel told me no freezing on global box except for chch when news is on
it ran pretty good this afternoon though
i have just been told that buzz is aware of the issue and checking into it

I also mentioned that in the OP
I have a friend who is currently using a mag device and it's been good. The buzz is definitely better, just need to get through this bad cough that it has.

I have both xpl3000 and xpl2000 and both on the 5ghz wi-fi connection have the same freezing problem on ok2 server :( I hope they will come with an update soon

Using ok2 apk from the main menu the second last button loads the guide.

Thanks,yes I tried that and it wouldn't load,reboot didn't help,the only way I could get the guide working again was to uninstall the apk and reload.So far its still working.

On my 2.4 I don't get the freeze or black ch.
My 5ghz on the other hand is freezing ch and blackouts.
Now on Kodi using 5ghz I don't get freeze.
That's what I found yesterday.

From my recollection it was all the channels.
I also found that when it freezes, you can hit the ok button on the remote and it tunes back in after about 2 seconds. In the flip side, if you leave the screen up with the EPG via the ok button it still freezes

turned the buzz back on and about 45 minutes later it froze for about 30 seconds on 147
put on 146 and it froze 2 minutes later
changed to 164 and a minute later it froze

I have been experiencing freezing on the xpl3000 as well.It usually begins after the box has been on between 1 to 2hrs.
In my case it appears only to be an issue when receiving an http source, as I have no problem with another source that has it’s own host apk.No freezing when on Kodi or Mobdro either. I tried changing the internal players,changed my high speed HDMI cable and cat5, there was no improvement.

Has anybody tried a factory default and then update the box through non wifi setup, after update , setup the server and connect with wifi 5ghz and then 2 ghz.
2 boxes out there that I am aware of have no issues running wifi but they did a factory default first.

Ok, Im picking up a few more of these for friends tomorrow and my question is should I update the box or leave it as is?
Will just be using for 'live tv', not for apps at the moment. The one I have running which I updated seems to be running fine with the update but maybe I got lucky.......

OK been reading through this and mine has been almost freeze free and the freezing I did have i blamed on my crappy internet
I am running wireless right now but if I am correct I was running wired on the last update My switch screwed up so I went wireless

I just updated a some boxes today wired and there running wireless at the present moment. I have put a consisted ping on them and I get anywhere from 1-4 percent packet loss but video has stayed on. I will chalk this up to a crappy laptop or a crappy router.
latest test is packets sent 318 packets recieved 309 lost 9=2 percent packet loss
All the losses were at different points of the test. none in a row..

The freezing got the better of me so I tried the reset slot under the box, it didn’t give me the choice to factory reset.
All I could do was stand by, shut down or reboot. I did find in the menu a section which is called storage/reset. Here I have the option of doing a factory data reset which erases everything. Should I proceed with the wipe will the necessary data needed to use the box be retained?I don’t mind if Kodi,Netflix or YouTube goes.I just want to have access to buzz tv and the internet browser.
