Ethernet Blinking Orange Light?

I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of the orange blinking light on the front? I believe its for the internet connection but is there a way to turn it off?

only way I know of is to use wifi

Try a small piece of black electrical tape over the offending LED.

Also works good to cover up those pesky cameras on most newer laptops and monitors, that way no one can take a sneak peek at you.

different colours represent different things
