When using the APK, regarding the EPG, I find that sometimes there is a single entry still left in some obscure channel for the day, and it does NOT redownload until day is empty. Since the EPG URL is hardcoded internally on the APK, I don't know if the options under the EPG URL dialog, which allow you to change when/how it refreshes, have any effect.

Default is Download if no data on current date. You can force EPG downloading by means of using ‘Down‘ key (instead of ‘Ok‘) when cursor is on ‘Update‘ button (the one with the 2 arrows in a circle - next to the settings gear icon which is the rightmost icon).

I find when it is nearly blank I just force redownload and it is all good again.

EPG display is still acting funny. When I highlight a channel, it shows the wrong time, but when i scroll back to the channel, it now displays the correct time. Anybody else experiencing this? I'm using STBEMU.

I experienced that last night on a mag256 and dreamlink t2. It would show from 2PM, when in reality the time was 8PM. It was random, sometimes scrolling back to the channel the EPG worked, sometimes it still showed the incorrect time. Going to try tonight again

That was a separate issue where no there was no EPG info at all. In my case, EPG data is there but it's showing the incorrect time.

epg is still out of sink for me too just wondering if they where still looking into it.

hit the back button where the channels are in a single list it is correct but when you use the epg and it goes to full screen there are a lot still out by a few hours.

just sucks when you see that show you want to watch but its actually not on for another 2 hours

its a time zone thing again, if your not in the eastern time zone some of the channels are out.
been like this a long time.
only with ok2 its all good on the ipguys service. should we start to make a list so the can fix them as we find them?

Mine seems to be fine.
OK2 is the best iptv imo.
Great people and great support.

i have some time today so i will look

channel:

279: says rock dog
but its harry potter so the epg is right off on that one

280 says bride of chucky
but its good morning vietnam and freezing

283 in single mode says the space between us
but full screen says carlitos way

too many channels i'll post as i see them so the team can see what i'm talking about. just frustrating to use the nice full screen epg and spend the time surfing then click on the program and its the wrong program.

Mine today was off and I was surprised... Then after rebooting a few times and checking it out with Perfect player also, I finally realized that Automatic time on my Android box was going nuts... It was off by 1h18minutes... Very strange... I can understand off by an 1hr or 2 (figure maybe timezone interpretation issue). But off by minutes also ? Very weird..

I changed it to manual time, and set the time correctly, restarted OK2, and all was pretty decent.

I wish Android had the option to automatically sync with standard NTP servers (without needing root) instead of hardcoded google servers.
