OK2 on Avov problem

A friend is having a strange problem with OK2 on his white Avov box
I know it is not the OK2 service - because I"m not having the same issue on my Buzz box.

He brought over his Avov and trying to play Channel 46 MLB - he only get the voice and no video - the same channel works perfect on my Buzz

Any ideas what the problem may be with a Avov

No - it is also on Big Ten - channel 10 and he says also other channels but I just checked those two channels for him.

It's funny other channels come in good on this Avov but only certain channels have no sound. I wonder if it has something to do with the way they are streaming a few of their channels - that they work on Buzz and other receivers but not on an Avov.

As far as I know there is no way of changing the player like we can on the Buzz

Then again - it is an older box and maybe time to replace it.

In first post you say there is voice, but no video. In the last post you say "no sound" :) Which one is it ?

Check the MTL channels (G*L*O*B*A*L MTL & C*T*V MTL). Those are h265 for sure.. If you can get those, then it is not because of the new stream. If you can't get those, then probably unit does not support h265.

Sorry - my bad - he is getting audio but no video

I tried all the TSN channels - including TSN5 and he is getting both video and audio on those - so I don't think it is a H265 issue.
He took the box home with him - so I don't have it here to try Mtl G*L*O*B or C*T*V
