I am new to Buzz TV (BT). Is this the official BT forum or is there one?

I have just received 3 x XPL3000 boxes for myself and others and the preloaded Netflix app is not working properly on any of them. The app allows me to login to my Netflix account but then I can launch the show, it starts successfully but then after about 10 seconds, I get the following message:

"Sorry, we could not reach the Netflix service. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please visit the Netflix website (0013)." This goes to a troubleshooting page and I have followed everything it says, to no avail.
This version is 4.16.1 build 200147

Has anyone else come across this problem yet and solved this?

I dont use netflix on the buzz myself as its on my tv
You could try a couple of things
Uninstall and try other versions of netflix in the market

or load one of the latest versions found here with usb

https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/netflix-inc/
Hopefully someone who uses it can help

Okay, I downloaded version Netflix 5.15.0 build 26538 and installed it. This worked good.

Thank you for your help "nobodyspecial"

The only problem with this, is if you go into the Aptoide app -> My Apps - > Updates. You will see there is an available update for the Netflix app. If you go through with this update you will downgrade your new installation to version 4.16.1 build 200147.

then uninstall the one that was already loaded

As I previously stated, I did uninstall the 4.16.1 version and then installed the 5.15.0 version. Then I looked in Aptoide and it wanted to downgrade the 5.15.0 version to 4.16.1.

I'm assuming the Buzz suffers from the same problem with Netflix that most Android boxes do in that max resolution is 480P?
I thought I could switch from my Roku to an Andriod box for everything but that's a deal breaker for me.

the buzz is capable of 4k

Yes, as are a lot of Android boxes.
But Netflix limits the vast majority of them to 480P resolution. I found this out the hard way recently. The list of Android based stb's that get full HD resolution is very small.
Are you saying the Buzz gets up to 4K with Netflix?

One of many explanations...

I also use the Buzztv 3000. I lost the preloaded Netflix when I accepted an update. I found the original preloaded software and attempted to reload it without success. I have also tried to load the suggested versions mentioned here, all to no avail. Has anyone found a current solution? Other than uninstalling Netflix each time, are there further steps required to have a successful result?

It was suggested that I do a factory reset. What are, if any, the consequences?
